Application

Anti vandal Armour Ring

Place the Armour Ring over the hex-head bolt. Tap into position with a soft faced hammer.

Once installed, the Armour Ring covers the bolt and therefore cannot be easily removed.

This solution IS preferred and is a requirement when installing various embellishments such as; seats, tables and benches, drinking fountains and beach showers.

Shear Nut

The Shear Nut top is a part of the hex-head.  Once fixed in position, the hex-head top is snapped off leaving what appears like an Armour Ring.

Once the shear nut top is removed, it leaves behind sharp edges and is not possible to remove.

This is not ideal and therefore the solution is NOT preferred.

Acorn Nut

(also called Dome Nut)

The Acorn Nut is a one piece unit.

Once the nut is installed is can be easily removed. This is not desired, as it allows vandals to take advantage.

This solution is NOT preferred.

Spike Anchor

Spike Anchor top is part of the bolt.  The only moving part is the bottom sleeve.
