Drawings detailing technical guidance for embellishment design

Note: 

  • Drinking fountains must be bolt down with SS316 hex-head Dynabolts (size to suit). SS316 anti vandal ‘Armour rings’ must be installed over the Dynabolt head. 
  • Acorn nuts, spike anchors, drive pins or shear nuts are NOT to be used. 
  • Refer manufacturer installation guide for current fixing recommendations, any discrepancies refer superintendent.

  • Drinking Fountain Metro dual model (650 H and 890 H) SPPL.DF.MD.FS.SP
  • Dog bowl: refer dog exercise areas  
  • Council custom height and low height options
  • Double bowl option
  • Optional dog bowl (council preference is for dog bowls to be installed on tap posts)
  • Supplier must demonstrate that the product has WaterMark certification
  • Filters must NOT be installed.

This document does not override requirements stipulated in a development approval. Project specific variations may be appropriate as a result of site, environmental or other constraints. Any variations to these standards must be approved in writing by council prior to commencement of variation works. Components of this document may be used within a contract document but users should undertake their own investigations to confirm the information is suitable for this purpose.
