Updates

On top of the NEW website, the April 2026 upload included content amendments to over 00 categories to ensure the information continues to reflect Council’s desired standards and industry best practice.

The following is a list of the most significant content updates uploaded April 2026 (in alphabetical order):

LIM Bike racks and rails - new product technical drawings.
LIM Beach infrastructure - updates to turtle fencing.
LIM Dog exercise areas - updates to be reflect the Dog Exercise Area Regional Plan and Network Blueprint 2025–2045. Includes additional diagrams and provision for small dog and large dog fenced exercise areas. Updates to technical drawings.
LIM Environmental management of fauna and flora - additional content (e.g. Crash barriers).
LIM Electrical - minor amendments (Dark Sky friendly lighting - 3000K CCT or lower, depending on site location).
LIM Fences and gates - updates to technical drawings.
LIM Paths, trails and tracks - updates to information (including updates to fire access trails - removal of xxxxx).
LIM Play spaces - amended Specifications, strengthening nature play information. Updated information on playground surfacing.
LIM Picnic tables and benches - new product technical drawings.
LIM Planting palette - minor amendments to Planting Index.
LIM Seats - new product technical drawings.
LIM Shade sails - additional content (e.g. Tensioning devices and turnbuckles). Updates to positioning and colour options (also see NEW - Colour palette).
LIM Sports and games - amendments to technical drawings, plus a NEW drawing (Netball shooting circle).
LIM Signage - Combined suites (Parks and gardens and Environment, coastal and waterways suites), simplified and streamlined. Some sign type name changes, additional signs added (e.g. NEW 'How to use' Pump track sign, Dog regulatory sign content amendments, Beach access signs refreshed), template updates, additional flexibility for some layout designs.
LIM Site setup (including tree protection) - amended Specifications, updated tree protection methodology content.
LIM Tree sensitive design - xxxxx ???
LIM Smart technology - minor amendments and additional content (e.g. Dark Sky friendly lighting).
NEW Colour palette section - includes Standards embellishments, Seating, and Shelters.
