Overview
This category of the LIM has been developed to provide guidance for the design and construction of signage for public open spaces.
These graphic design guidelines should be read in conjunction with the signage suite.
This section of LIM Signage addresses the following:
- Graphic design requirements
- Catalogue (visual guide of entire suite)
- Planning
- Materials, fixings and finishes selection
- Overarching positioning (e.g. clearances and viewing heights)
- Equal access guidance
- Standards.
Note: All signs must comply with council requirements outlined in this category and they must be approved by Council. Custom signage is not included.
