International legislation
- The United Nations (UN) – Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Recognises the inherent dignity and worth and the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family.
- The United Nations (UN) – Convention on the Rights of the Child. Applies to all children, whatever their race, religion or abilities. No child can be treated unfairly on any basis.
- The United Nations (UN) – Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). A global gathering to discuss a range of issues that have impact on endangered animals and plants.
