Fences and gates

Technical drawings

Drawings detailing technical guidance for embellishment design

Specific fences and gates may be appropriate for different open space settings.  Approval must be obtained from the asset owner/custodian. See LIM fences and gates for further guidance.

These fences are not suitable for providing edge protection where there is risk of injury from a fall that is greater than 1.0 m. This includes culverts, bridge crossings and retaining walls.
